Andrew Williams, Showjumper & Trainer
Andrew was born into a successful equestrian family and from a young age was showjumping. Andrew has enjoyed a great deal of success over the years with countless wins in top showjumping competitions as well as in the show ring.
Andrew has competed in the prestigious Hickstead Derby and Speed Derby and has stood Working hunter Reserve Champion at both Horse of the Year Show and Royal International.
He is a regular face on the county show circuit and enjoys training horses alongside practising equine dentistry. His vast experience has earned him a reputation as a great horseman and trainer.
Andrew backs, produces and trains horses from his yard in Cornwall.
Showjumping
Throughout the year Andrew is out showjumping each week. Whilst we often run a couple of our own horses, we offer showjumping livery and various competition packages. There is often room to add to our string!
The shows we attend will mainly depend on the level that your horse is jumping at. For younger, greener horses we have great access to the local venues in Cornwall and Devon and can visit training or day shows. We visit multiple away shows with classes for all levels of horses.
From the end of May set off for the county shows, which are aimed at the more experienced jumpers, offering classes from 1.30 all the way up to international stairways.
Training
All ages and abilities catered for. Andrew and Juliet are both on hand to offer training and development of the horses and rider.
Andrew’s yard is an ideal environment in which to develop, situated in close proximity to a number of show venues; with a perfectly prepared jump paddock, a full set of show jumps, hilly canter tracks for fitness work, loads of hacking and a knowledgeable team on site.
