Andrew has spent many years training under some of the most experienced Equine Dentists in the industry and is a fully qualified EDT. He has focused a great deal of importance on ensuring he is up to date with current learning, news and legislation.
The British Association of Equine Dental Technicians exists to provide an organisation of qualified Equine Dental Technicians, to promote good practice amongst persons practicing Equine Dentistry and to promote professional training of Equine Dental Technicians, improving the welfare of the horse. A true horseman in every sense, Andrew has used his lifetime of experience of competing in showjumping, showing, hunting as well as horse production as a tool to help him really understand the behaviour of the horses he works with. He has a sympathetic and reassuring manner, ensuring that he can work with even the trickiest of customers. Your horse will feel confident and safe whilst in his care.

Andrew is friendly and approachable, as an owner you can feel reassured that Andrew will talk you through each step of your horse’s treatment and will explain thoroughly any work done, so that you are well informed and have a good understanding of your horses’ particular dental requirements.
The Right Tools
Andrew is qualified to use both handheld manual tools and electronic dental tools; both serve their purpose and Andrew will be happy to talk through your options depending on your horses preference. As a rule, Andrew aims to work with most horses unsedated, however he does appreciate there are some cases where sedation is necessary. Andrew has good working relationships with local vets and can work with them to arrange sedation and referrals if necessary.

Current clients include international showjumpers and eventers as well as hunt and showing yards. With years of experience with fit competition horses, be reassured that Andrew will be able to support your horses’ performance needs, with little or no downtime.
Andrew is also proud to treat beloved family pets from donkeys to the tiniest Shetlands and ponies.
With bases in both Cornwall and Surrey Andrew is able to cover a wide area including Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Middlesex, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Sommerset.
